Egon Kardum, an Associated Press technician at the park, was walking up the street when he heard ``a really loud explosion. It was a really quick blue light. There was no smoke.

``We walked over and there were two people lying in the street. One guy looked like he was really hurt, rolling around on the floor,'' he said.

The explosion could be felt several blocks away.
